Jessica is a nationally board-certified Physician Assistant with over 12 years of clinical experience spanning family medicine, hormone optimization, medical weight loss, and medical aesthetics. She founded Defiance Health to deliver the personalized, transparent care that traditional healthcare often misses — building treatment plans around your life, not a protocol sheet.
Randi Asbell, APRN, FNP-C
Randi is a board-certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in medical aesthetics, hormone optimization, and acute wellness. Her clinical expertise and patient-first approach make her a natural fit for the Defiance Health team.
Danae Enriquez, RN
Danae brings seven years of emergency and trauma nursing — a Level III trauma emergency room and 911 ambulance service — to the aesthetics and wellness side of our practice. Working alongside our clinical team, she delivers treatments with the calm, safety-first care she honed in emergency medicine, serving patients across the San Luis Valley.
Nicholas Lara, MBA
Nick co-founded Defiance Health with a mission to build a healthcare practice that puts patients first — not insurance companies. He manages operations, strategy, and patient experience across both locations, ensuring every visit runs smoothly from scheduling to follow-up.
Dr. April Goggans, DO
Dr. Goggans serves as Medical Director for the Defiance Health clinical team. Her medical expertise and oversight ensure that all treatment protocols meet the highest standards of clinical excellence and patient safety.
Cheri Meder
Cheri provides esthetician services at our Alamosa location, helping patients care for and refresh their skin with professional facials, dermaplaning, and skincare treatments tailored to their goals.
