Do I need to be a Defiance Health patient to shop?
No. Most products are available to anyone. A few prescription-only items (like compounded oxytocin nasal spray) require a brief telehealth consultation first to confirm appropriateness — we'll guide you through that if relevant.
Where do you ship?
We ship nationwide from our Denver location. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on weight and destination. Most non-temperature-sensitive products ship within 1-2 business days.
Can I use HSA or FSA funds?
Yes for most products. Lab tests, prescription items, and many medical-grade skincare products are HSA/FSA eligible. Apparel, gift cards, and certain accessories typically aren't. Check with your plan administrator if you're unsure.
Do you offer financing for larger orders?
Yes. We accept Cherry and CareCredit for orders over $200 and especially for treatment-plus-product bundles. Both offer 0% interest plans for qualifying purchases.
How do at-home lab test kits work?
You order the kit, take it to a participating Quest, LabCorp, or Access Medical Labs location for the blood draw, and we receive your results directly. A provider reviews your panel and gives you a clinical interpretation. Some kits include the option to discuss results with a provider via telehealth.
Are your products authentic?
Yes. We're an authorized retailer for ZO Skin Health, LightStim, Nutrafol, and other clinical brands. Counterfeit products are a real problem in skincare e-commerce — we source directly from manufacturers and licensed compounding pharmacies.
What's your return policy?
Unopened, unused products in original packaging can be returned within 30 days. Opened skincare products and prescription items cannot be returned for safety and regulatory reasons. Lab kits that haven't been used can be returned for refund. Contact us before initiating any return.
Can I pick up locally instead of shipping?
Yes. If you're near our Centennial or Alamosa location, you can select pickup at checkout. We'll email you when your order is ready — typically same-day for in-stock items.
What if I'm not sure which product is right for me?
Book a brief consultation with our clinical team. Aesthetics consultations are typically free or low-cost. The right product depends on your skin type, goals, current routine, and other factors — and a 15-minute conversation often saves you weeks of trial and error.
Do you offer any discounts or loyalty programs?
We periodically run promotions (announced via email and Instagram). InBody home scales are available with our exclusive code DEFIANCE15. Active patients sometimes receive bundled-product pricing as part of treatment plans.
Are skincare programs better than buying products individually?
For most people, yes. Programs are designed by our providers to work synergistically — meaning the products are formulated to be used together for compounding effects. Buying piecemeal often results in conflicting active ingredients or skipping foundational steps.
How do I know if I need a professional consultation before ordering?
Generally: products with active ingredients above 0.5% retinol, peptide creams beyond surface-level use, prescription items, and any complete program. If you have sensitive skin, current acne medications (like Accutane), pregnancy/breastfeeding, or a history of skin reactions — book a consultation. See full pricing details →
